Department Of Meteorology Warns Of Poor Horizontal Visibility At Places


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Weather, inshore, until 6:00 pm on Saturday will be misty to foggy at places at first, and relatively hot daytime, mild by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected poor horizontal visibility at many places at first.

Offshore, it will be misty to foggy in some places at first, with some clouds at first becoming fine, the report added, warning of poor visibility in some places in the north-east area at first.

Wind inshore will be variable at first shifts to northwesterly - northeasterly at 03 to 13 knots.

Offshore, it will be variable, mainly northwesterly at 03 to 12 knots.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet, while offshore it will be 1 to 3 feet.

Visibility inshore will be 04 to 9/2 kilometers or fewer at places at first. Offshore it will also be 05 to 10/01 kilometers or fewer in places at first.
