Kuwaiti diplomat conveys FM handwrittern letter to Bangladeshi counterpart
NEW DELHI, Oct 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Ambassador Sameeh Johar Hayat delivered on Sunday, a handwritten letter from Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya to his Bangladeshi counterpart Mohammad Hussain.
The letter was handed over during a meeting held at Bangladesh's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka, attended by Kuwait's Ambassador to Bangladesh Ali Hamadah and the accompanying Kuwaiti delegation, on the sidelines of Hayat's official visit.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and ways to further enhance cooperation in various fields, as well as an exchange of views on regional and international issues of common interest between Kuwait and Bangladesh.
Hayat affirmed Kuwait's keenness to strengthen relations with Bangladesh across political, military, economic, cultural, scientific, and technical domains, emphasizing the importance of continuous coordination and political consultation between both countries.
Both sides expressed their aspiration to deepen cooperation and bolster economic ties consistent with their strong historic relationship, while appreciating the distinguished bilateral relations that have existed between Kuwait and Bangladesh since 1973. (end)
