(MENAFN- gagroup) Ghassan Aboud Holding, a diversified conglomerate with a track record of over 30 years in the UAE and deep roots across the automotive, retail, logistics, hospitality, and digital commerce sectors, recently welcomed a delegation of 30 MBA and PhD students from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), one of South Africa’s most respected business schools, to its headquarters in Dubai.
The visit formed part of the students’ international immersion program and served as an opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the operations of a global business group headquartered in Dubai, one of the world’s most dynamic commercial hubs. It also provided a platform for knowledge exchange and dialogue on leadership, innovation, and the challenges and opportunities of managing a diversified global enterprise.
Representing the group, Dr. Debri Van Wyk, Head of Talent and Learning & Development, led an engaging session that explored Ghassan Aboud Holding’s business philosophy, growth journey, and leadership principles. Dr. Van Wyk also shared perspectives on the company’s continued evolution and how agility, innovation, and people-centric strategies have been central to its sustained success.
“It was a pleasure to engage with such a bright and forward-looking group of future business leaders,” said Dr. Van Wyk. “At Ghassan Aboud Holding, we believe leadership development thrives through dialogue, diversity, and shared learning. Encounters like this reinforce our commitment to knowledge exchange and to shaping a more connected and forward-thinking global business community.”
