Russians Attack Dnipropetrovsk Region, Damaging Energy Infrastructure


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Acting Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Vladyslav Haivonenko reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform writes.

The region faced a renewed massive drone attack overnight. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 22 UAVs, but some strikes still hit their targets.

“In Kryvyi Rih, the attack caused a fire at an industrial facility. Energy infrastructure was damaged,” the statement reads.

The enemy also struck Nikopol district, using artillery and FPV drones. Cities and communities affected include Nikopol and Pokrovske. Two women were injured and are being treated at home. Four private houses, three apartment buildings, and vehicles were damaged.

Updated reports indicate that an 84-year-old woman in Nikopol district was injured in the evening attack yesterday. She received medical assistance and will be treated on an outpatient basis. The strike also caused a private house to catch fire.

Earlier reports noted that four people were injured in Nikopol district during attacks the previous day.
