The event, which will take place at the Hotel La Compañía in Casco Viejo, will mark the start of this highly anticipated and pioneering tournament. The event will celebrate the host country, Panama, and raise funds for the Dr. José Renán Esquivel Children's Hospital, the largest and most comprehensive pediatric center in the country.

Caballero's distinguished career, from his native Panama to the ranks of the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball, has been marked by talent, perseverance, hard work, and dedication to the sport. After making his MLB debut in 2023 with the Seattle Mariners and spending a season with the Tampa Bay Rays, Caballero was traded to New York this season. In his brief time in the Bronx on the biggest stage in professional sports, Caballero has emerged as a key player on the Yankees roster, delivering the game-winning hit that secured the team's 2025 playoff berth.
