Consequences Of Attack On Energy Facilities Continue To Be Eliminated In Kharkiv Region, 400 Users Without Gas

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was reported on television by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

"The enemy began attacking the Kharkiv region at around 11 p.m., and we recorded the first strikes by Shahed drones. The shelling continued throughout the night. Strikes were also recorded at 7 a.m. Twelve missiles and 56 Shahed drones targeted critical infrastructure: power grids, power substations, gas production facilities, and gas infrastructure. The strikes were carried out in the Bohodukhiv, Lozova, and Izium districts. In addition, the enemy used double strikes: they struck when units of the State Emergency Service and other services were already working on the site. And the last strikes were at 11 a.m. in the Lozova district," Syniehubov said.

According to him, as a result of the strikes, about 7,000 users in the Lozova district were initially left without power. The accident consequences were eliminated, but during the repeated shelling, the power was cut off again.

"The power supply has been fully restored. As for gas supply, 400 subscribers are currently disconnected. We plan to carry out repair work within 24 hours and restore the gas supply completely. This is provided that there are no repeated strikes, but unfortunately, such a risk remains," Syniehubov said.

According to him, those injured over the past day are employees of critical facilities.

As reported, Russian troops shelled 15 settlements in the Kharkiv region over the past day, injuring four civilians.
