At least 34 militants belonging to the outlawed group 'Fitna al-Khawarij' were killed during a series of security operations carried out across various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between October 13 and 15, 2025.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the slain militants were reportedly operating under the influence of Indian agencies and were targeted during separate intelligence-based operations in North Waziristan, South Waziristan, and Bannu districts.

The ISPR spokesperson stated that a major intelligence-based operation was carried out in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan, where security forces effectively targeted a militant hideout. During an intense exchange of fire, 18 militants were killed.

Following the operations, sanitization efforts are underway to clear the areas of any remaining hideouts linked to the Indian-backed militant network.

The ISPR spokesperson reaffirmed that security forces and law enforcement agencies remain fully committed to the ongoing counterterrorism campaign under the Vision of Azm-e-Istihkam, aimed at eradicating the menace of externally supported terrorism from Pakistan once and for all.
