I am an evolutionary biologist and ethologist. I study the of evolution of individuality in behavioral preferences in fruit flies. I am interested in understanding how evolution can shape the variability in behaviors, the ecological pressures driving this evolution, and the underlying genetic changes. I study a variety of behaviors in fruit flies, such as their preference for turning left-vs-right and their temperature preference.
