Another harassment scandal has surfaced at Gomal University in Dera Ismail Khan, where an Assistant Director has been suspended following allegations of harassing a female student.

According to sources, the accused allegedly summoned the student to his office in the administration block on various pretexts, where he reportedly subjected her to harassment.

The student immediately informed her family, who reached the university and managed to catch the accused red-handed. The family later reported the incident to the Vice Chancellor.

Upon receiving the complaint, the Vice Chancellor took swift action by suspending the Assistant Director and ordering a formal inquiry into the incident.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first such case at Gomal University. Several harassment incidents have been reported in the past, raising serious concerns about the institution's environment and student safety.
Students and parents have demanded strict action against those involved and urged the administration to take effective measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
