Nikita Vanderbyl is an honourary research fellow La Trobe's Mildura campus. Her doctoral thesis investigated the life and work of Wurundjeri artist William Barak. She lives and works on the unceded lands of the Barkantji, Latji Latji, Ngintaiat and Nyeri Nyeri peoples.
