Brussels-Based Whyte Acquires Dutch Firm, Launches EU Public Affairs Offer

BRUSSELS-Brussels-based Whyte Corporate Affairs has acquired Dutch consultancy Public Matters to consolidate its position as the leading corporate affairs spcialist in the Benelux markets.
The acquisition adds a presence in both The Hague and Amsterdam to Whyte's existing Brussels and Antwerp offices. Together, Whyte Corporate Affairs and Public Matters generate a consolidated annual revenue of €14 million with a combined team of 85 consultants.
The two firms have a heritage in supporting organizations through complex stakeholder environments, shaping public perception, managing issues and reputation, anticipating regulatory developments and dealing with transformation. They will continue to work independently on their respective markets, while offering a joint Benelux offering when needed.
At the same time, the firm has launched Whyte EU, a new Brussels based European public affairs firm.
The new operation will be ld by Karel Van Eetvelt- as former CEO of the UNIZO association of Belgian entrepreneurs and financial sector trade group FEBELFIN, and more recently CEO of Hill+Knowlton Strategies Brussels-as managing director and partner and former H+K chairman Thomas Tindemans as partner and senior advisor (pictured above).
They will advise and support Whyte EU's clients across the European policy landscape.
