Irbid, Oct. 8 (Petra) -- The Irbid Youth Directorate has wrapped up the "Is'a" program, a national initiative designed to empower young job seekers and bridge the gap between education and employment.
The program, implemented by the Ministry of Youth in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and UNICEF, brought together 17 participants aged 18 to 26.
Over 13 intensive days, participants engaged in hands-on training aimed at sharpening employability and professional skills.
Workshops covered resume writing, crafting effective cover letters, and mastering job interviews, alongside sessions on networking, exploring hidden job markets, and understanding emerging green and digital career opportunities.
The program also familiarized participants with labor laws and workers' rights, giving them the knowledge and confidence to navigate the job market effectively.
At the closing ceremony, attendees received accredited certificates recognizing their commitment and achievements.
Organizers reaffirmed their dedication to continuing support for graduates as they pursue meaningful employment and explore opportunities across the Irbid region.
