The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced fully funded PhD scholarships for Pakistani students aspiring to pursue higher studies in the United States under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor program.

Through this initiative, eligible Pakistani scholars will have the opportunity to secure admission to some of the world's top-ranked universities, specifically among the top 300 US institutions listed in the global QS rankings.

The program aims to strengthen academic collaboration between Pakistan and the United States while equipping Pakistani scholars with advanced research and academic training.

It is designed to develop the country's human capital by fostering expertise in science, technology, and education, enabling scholars to play a key role in Pakistan's progress.

According to HEC, the scholarships will be offered under two categories. The first category covers admissions to the top 50 ranked US universities, where selected candidates will receive full financial support, including tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and health insurance.

The second category applies to universities ranked between 51 and 300, where scholars will receive financial assistance of up to USD 12,000 per year to cover tuition fees, stipend, and medical expenses.

The program reflects HEC's continued efforts to expose Pakistani students and professionals to international research environments and emerging academic trends, ensuring they contribute effectively to national development.

Applications can be submitted via the HEC online scholarship portal. The deadline for submission is November 15, 2025, for Spring/Summer 2026 admissions, and April 30, 2026, for *Fall 2026* admissions.
