Professor Wynne is an active clinical researcher with a focus on health services research in the acute care context. She is a Board Director for the Australian Cardiovascular Research Alliance (ACvA), a founding member of the Cardiac Surgery International Nursing and Allied Professional Research Network (CONNECT) and the Women in Cardiovascular Trials Group (WiCVT), a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ), CSANZ Board member, Secretary of the CSANZ Cardiovascular Nursing Council, Chair of the CSANZ Professional and Ethics Standards Committee (PESC), Associate Editor (Cardiac Surgery) for the European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing, Editor in Chief of Contemporary Nurse Journal, a member of the Melbourne Academic Centre for Health (MACH) Health Services Improvement and Implementation Committee, and a MACH Future Leader Fellowship Mentor. Rochelle leads a program of clinical research in chronic cardiovascular disease, examining the interaction between patient participation in care and acute care workforce on patient outcomes.
