Russian Drone Strike On Fishing Boat In Shostka District Leaves One Dead, One Injured


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was reported by the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram , according to Ukrinform.

“According to the investigation, on October 4, 2025, at approximately 11:20, in the Seredyna-Buda community, the enemy attacked a fishing boat on a lake using a drone. As a result of the occupiers' strike, a 63-year-old man was killed and a 65-year-old man sustained injuries,” the statement reads.

Under the procedural guidance of the Shostka District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes resulting in the death of a person (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators from the Shostka District Police Department of the National Police in the Sumy region.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russia attacked the railway station in the Shostka community, with a drone striking a passenger train on the Shostka–Kyiv route.
