(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- Means of boosting trade and investment relations between Kuwait and Uzbekistan featured high on talks held on Wednesday between Kuwait's Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Acting Finance Minister and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs Dr. Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem and Uzbekistan's Ambassador Dr. Ayub Khan Yunusov.
During the meeting, the two sides touched upon preparations for holding the second session of the joint Kuwait-Uzbekistan ministerial committee due in December in Kuwait, Kuwait's Finance Ministry said in a press release.
They also shared views to get the best results in several fields for the interests of both states, it added.
A number of officials at the Finance Ministry and Kuwait Investment Authority attended the meeting. (end)
