N. Korea’s Leader Vows Deeper DPRK-China Relations
(MENAFN) North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has reaffirmed his commitment to fortifying ties with Beijing in a message sent to Chinese President Xi Jinping, marking China’s 76th National Day, according to a local news agency on Wednesday.
In his congratulatory message, Kim highlighted North Korea’s willingness to work closely with Beijing to strengthen the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries.
"It is the steadfast stand of our Party and the government of the Republic to steadily develop the traditional DPRK-China friendship no matter how the international situation may change," Kim stated, highlighting North Korea’s official designation as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
Further expressing confidence in China’s future, Kim said, “We are convinced that the Chinese people will continue to unite firmly around the CPC with Comrade General Secretary as its core and open a new phase of dynamic development, securing a brilliant victory in the long journey toward national rejuvenation.”
China annually celebrates October 1 as the founding day of the People’s Republic, established in 1949.
