TIW25 to advance Turkey’s goal to lead in innovation
(MENAFN) Türkiye Innovation Week (TIW25) is set to further the nation’s ambition to become a global leader in innovation, according to reports. The 12th edition of the event will take place at Istanbul’s Halic Congress Center from Oct. 9 11, organized with the support of Türkiye’s Trade Ministry and hosted by the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TIM).
This year’s main theme, “Tomorrow: Now,” will explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence from multiple perspectives.
TIM Chairman Mustafa Gultepe described Türkiye Innovation Week as “one of the most important steps they have taken to promote a culture of innovation in Türkiye, encourage innovative ideas, and pave the way for exports through high-value-added production.”
Highlighting the event’s continuity, Gultepe noted that Innovation Week has been held annually for 12 years and that this edition was designed with a “brand new vision.” He added, “This year’s theme gives us the feeling that the future has never been so close, has never generated such comprehensive change, and has never been so eagerly anticipated. It's no longer a distant possibility; it's happening right now. The future no longer exists in calendars, but in artificial intelligence and code.”
“Building on this powerful message, we are moving to implement the requirements of the future with the will of today. In this context, we've restructured Innovation Week around artificial intelligence,” he said.
Gultepe also noted that the event will support entrepreneurs and young innovators, with awards presented to leading innovators across various categories, continuing a tradition established in previous years.
