Chairman Al-Maqamis: Kuwait Red Crescent Society Keen On Supporting Palestine

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Chairman Khaled Al-Maqamis affirmed on Thursday that the Society was keen on supporting the Palestinian people and it had been doing so for decades.
Speaking to KUNA, Al-Maqamis said that his meeting with Palestinian Ambassador to Kuwait Rami Tahboub focused on KRCS' efforts to aid Palestine on all levels, whether it was governmental, charitable, or organizational.
He indicated that he reviewed with the Ambassador ongoing efforts to provide necessary aid to the Gaza Strip, which is going through a severe humanitarian crisis.
For his part, Ambassador Tahboub lauded the KRCS for its valuable support, saying it was one of the top institutions providing support to the Palestinian people.
He affirmed that coordination continues with KRCS to discuss the latest developments in war-torn Gaza and the best ways to deliver aid to Gazans.
He concluded by expressing deep appreciation to Kuwait and its people for their sincere gestures of support and care. (end)
