Landmine Blast Kills Man, Injures Son In Kurram
A man was killed and his son sustained serious injuries when a landmine exploded in the border area of Pewar in Kurram district on Thursday.
According to police, the incident occurred in the mountainous area of Khamza when the father and son were on their way to collect firewood.
The landmine planted on a dirt track went off, killing Hasan Ghulam on the spot while his son, Sadiq Hussain, was critically injured.

The body and the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Parachinar.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident. No group has so far claimed responsibility.
Meanwhile, tribal elders strongly condemned the tragic incident and demanded the government clear the area of landmines and ensure strict punishment for those involved in such acts of terrorism.
