Amman, Sep. 23 (Petra) – Minister of Health, Dr. Ibrahim Badour, discussed ways to strengthen Jordan's health cooperation with the Kuwaiti and Bahraini ambassadors to Jordan.
In two separate meetings, Badour called for activating reception offices for Arab patients in Jordanian hospitals to facilitate treatment procedures and enhance the experience of foreign patients.
According to a ministry statement issued Tuesday, the minister and the ambassadors went over the possibility of establishing "strategic partnerships" among Jordanian pharmaceutical factories and their counterparts in Kuwait and Bahrain.
The minister added that this vision would contribute to exchanging expertise and expanding export markets for Jordanian pharmaceutical products, known for their "high quality."
Concluding the two discussions, Badour affirmed Ministry of Health is "open" to all initiatives that enhance joint Arab cooperation in the health sector and support investment and expertise transfer for the benefit of all.
In turn, Kuwaiti envoy, Hamad Al-Marri, praised the "strong" bilateral relations, stressing his country's keenness to enhance cooperation in the health sector, mainly in providing optimal healthcare services.

Bahrain's Ambassador, Sheikh Khalifa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, also expressed his country's interest in expanding areas of health cooperation, valuing Jordan's efforts in developing the health sector and providing "high-level" medical services.
