In Lyman Sector, Enemies Try To Expand Footholds Defense Forces

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was reported on television by Colonel Oleh Sushynskyi, spokesman for the North Group of Forces, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“As for the Lyman sector, the enemy continues its assaults there, aiming to expand its footholds and look for weak spots in our defense. There is constant 'probing' of our troops' positions,” the spokesman said.

According to him, the Russian invaders are trying to rotate the units involved in these assaults.

“This is primarily due to the high losses of their infantry,” Sushynskyi said, stressing that the Defense Forces in the Lyman sector“are doing everything to minimize the enemy's offensive potential.”

The spokesman added that the Russian servicemen are also using motorcycles, cars, and bicycles.

As reported by Ukrinform, yesterday, in the Lyman sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled all invader attacks near Torske, Shandryholove, Stavky, Zarichne, and in the Serebrianka Forest. The Ukrainian defenders did not allow the Russians to occupy their positions.
