Ukraine Proposes Major Drone And Weapons Deals To U.S. Zelensky

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on Faceboo , Ukrinform reports.

The President emphasized that since last night, Russian forces have launched nearly 90 strike UAVs at Ukraine. Donetsk, Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the capital, came under attack. Among the targets were infrastructure facilities and enterprises.

In Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, two people were injured in the attack. In Kyiv, public transport infrastructure was damaged, restoration efforts are ongoing. All emergency services are operational.

Zelensky thanked air defenders for neutralizing most of the enemy targets.

He also stressed that Russia repeatedly attacks civilians at a time when the world, particularly the U.S., is calling for peace.

“We hear President Trump's position on ending the killings, and we have agreed to all the proposals to unblock diplomacy. But it seems this position is not being heard in Russia. This means that we must more actively implement everything that strengthens us: the PURL initiative, co-production, and the finalization of security guarantees. On the table are large-scale agreements on drones and arms procurement that Ukraine has proposed to the United States,” Zelensky said.

He emphasized that decisive actions are needed to eventually bring Russia to agree to diplomacy.

The President expressed gratitude to everyone providing assistance.

As previously reported, on the night of September 19, Ukraine's Defense Forces destroyed 71 Russian drones in the skies above the country, while strikes were recorded at six locations. The attack is ongoing.
