King Receives Qatar Emir At Marka Airport

Amman, Sept. 17 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II received Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at Marka Airport on Wednesday at the start of his official visit to Jordan.
An official welcoming ceremony was held for Sheikh Tamim.
A high-level Qatari delegation, including Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, and a number of officials are accompanying Sheikh Tamim on his visit to Jordan.
Also present to receive Sheikh Tamim were heads of authorities and a number of senior officials.
Royal Jordanian Air Force fighter jets accompanied Sheikh Tamim's aircraft upon entering Jordan's airspace.
