
Air Defense Forces Destroy 136 Russian Drones, Hits Reported In 13 Locations

Starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, the invaders attacked with Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Rostov and Kursk regions, 172 Shahed-type strike UAVs, Gerbera, and other types of drones from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). More than 100 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, Air Defense Forces shot down/neutralized 136 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Missile strikes and 36 strike UAVs were recorded at 13 locations.
