Tunisia Reaffirms Its Support For Qatar In All Efforts To Defend Its Territory, Sovereignty

Doha: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad HE Mohamed Ali Nafti affirmed the seriousness of the continued arrogant and aggressive approach of the Israeli occupying entity, stressing his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar, its leadership and people, and its full support for all its efforts to defend the sanctity of its land and national sovereignty following the treacherous Israeli aggression it was recently subjected to.

His Excellency said, in Tunisia's statement delivered during the Emergency Arab-Islamic summit held in Doha today, that the Israeli entity was not satisfied with nearly two years of genocide and continuous starvation policies against the Palestinian people, but extended its brutal attacks against a number of Arab and Islamic countries, including the State of Qatar, which sponsors mediation efforts to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

He also reaffirmed his country's solidarity with Qatar and its full support for all its efforts to defend the sanctity of its land and national sovereignty, considering that the crimes committed by the entity against Arab and Islamic lands represent a serious violation of all international and humanitarian charters and laws, and a targeting of Arab and Islamic security.

In this context, he explained that Tunisia urges the unification of ranks and the intensification of Arab-Islamic cooperation and solidarity in these historic circumstances in order to confront all the threats posed by the occupying entity to peace, security, and stability in the region and the world.

Tunisia also calls on the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to assume its legal, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities, and to act seriously and decisively to put an end to the killings, starvation, and terrorism committed in the Palestinian territories.

Nafti called for intensifying movements and communications with regional partner countries and active international powers to resolve their position regarding the crimes of the Israeli entity and to push towards an immediate cessation of its aggression against the Gaza Strip and its attacks on the countries and peoples of the region.

His Excellency also noted that his country renews its principled and firm position in support of the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate rights, which will not expire, foremost of which is the establishment of their independent state with full sovereignty over all the land of Palestine and its capital, Al Quds Al Sharif.
