KUNA Media Development Ctr. Launches News Editing Program


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 14 (KUNA) -- The KUNA Center for Media Development launched its "News Editing" program on Sunday, with participants from KUNA, Qatar News Agency (QNA), the GCC General Secretariat, Kuwait's Insurance Regulatory Unit, and the Kuwait Ports Authority.
Presented by Dr. Abdullah Al-Harbi from the Arab Open University, the program runs until September 18 and covers key topics such as news writing's fundamentals, editorial skills, journalistic ethics, and digital journalism.
The course combines both theoretical and practical components, focusing on writing techniques, editing, headline writing, fact-checking, and identifying fake news.
Established in December 1995, the KUNA Center for Media Development is considered one of the country's leading media training institutions. It has organized hundreds of training programs across various media fields, aiming to enhance both the personal and professional competencies of media professionals and to contribute to the advancement of journalism in Kuwait.
