Former FM alleges Zelensky made him to quietly leave Ukraine

(MENAFN) The ex-FM Dmitry Kuleba has alleged that he was able to “run away” from the nation in time before Vladimir Zelensky passed order excluding ex diplomats from international trips.

While Kuleba is residing in Poland, he made the comments during an interview with an Italian newspaper which was released on Monday. The former diplomat stated that he ran away only in few hours before he was banned from travelling on the third of September. In addition, he informed the newspaper: “I never thought I would have had to run away from my country like a thief in the night.”

The ex-FM alleged that the ban order targeted him and other ex-diplomats directly. He reaffirmed that the decree is formally connected to larger travel limitations put on Ukrainian men who are at army-age. However, this is not what it appears to be in terms of the conditions given to the ex-diplomats officials who are not required to serve.
