
Qatar Beat Saudi Arabia In Arabian Gulf Padel Championship 2025
Doha, Qatar: Qatar defeated Saudi Arabia 2-1 in the second round of the Arabian Gulf Padel Championship 2025 yesterday.
The tournament, organized by the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel and Badminton Federation, and held at the Padel Inn courts until September 19, sees the participation of six Gulf teams.
The Qatari men's team won two of the three matches they played against Saudi Arabia.
The duo of Rashid Nawaf and Hassan Wali won the first match 2-0 (6-2, 6-2) while in the second match, Mohammed Saadoun and Meshari Nawaf won blanked their opponents 6-0, 6-0.
Meanwhile, Ali Al-Saadi and Khaled Saadoun lost the third match 1-2 (5-7, 6-2, 0-6). This is the second consecutive victory for the Qatari team, having defeated Oman 3-0 in the first round. Qatar will next meet their Kuwaiti counterparts today, in the third round of the tournament.
