Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee shows that this represents an 11.7 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Transport services accounted for 18.1 percent of the total volume of market services rendered in the country.
The regions with the highest volumes of transport services were:
Bukhara region: 4 trillion soums (circa $357 million)
Kashkadarya region: 4 trillion soums (circa $357 million)
Andijan region: 4.5 trillion soums (circa $402 million)
Fergana region: 5.4 trillion soums (circa $482 million)
Samarkand region: 6.8 trillion soums (circa $607 million)
Tashkent region: 7 trillion soums (circa $625 million)
Tashkent city: 21.7 trillion soums (circa $1.94 billion)
