Qcraft Opens European HQ In Germany And Partners With Qualcomm On Autonomous Driving
September 8, 2025 by Mai Tao
QCraft has announced plans to establish its European headquarters in Germany and formed a partnership with Qualcomm, marking what the company calls its official entry into the European and global markets.
The Chinese autonomous driving start-up unveiled the strategy at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich.
The new base will oversee research integration, certification processes and business development, with Germany's automotive ecosystem seen as“fertile ground for QCraft to localize its solutions,” the company said.
QCraft describes its technology as offering“breakthrough compute efficiency” built on in-house large-model capabilities and a proprietary data toolchain.
The company says this enables automakers to reduce costs and complexity while bringing L2++ to L4 features to mass-market vehicles.
“To accelerate global deployment, QCraft has entered a partnership with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. to build next-generation intelligent assisted driving solutions on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride platform,” the company said in a press release.
“This collaboration will combine Qualcomm's ecosystem resources with QCraft's proven technical capabilities, reducing mass production cycles and costs while addressing the customized needs of global automakers.”
QCraft said mass production and delivery of its solutions in Europe, the US, Japan and South Korea are expected to begin in 2026.
Founded in 2019 in Silicon Valley, QCraft has deployed its technology in more than 600,000 vehicles.
