Russian Aircraft Dropped Nearly 4,400 Guided Bombs On Frontline Areas In August
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were 5,027 combat engagements recorded during the month. On August 28 alone, Russian forces launched over 190 attacks on Ukrainian positions.
"The Russian Federation continues to ignore the international community's efforts to end the war against Ukraine. Instead, the Russian military is intensifying its aerial terror. In August, there was an increase in the use of aerial bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules (guided aerial bombs)," the ministry reported.

As previously reported, Russian forces struck one of the districts in Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs, killing two civilians.
