Doha, Qatar: The Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center organised a lecture for the Ethiopian community in both Amharic and Oromo languages, with the aim of enhancing religious awareness among its members.

This initiative comes as part of the center's ongoing efforts to address the concerns and needs of non-Arabic-speaking Muslim communities. During the lecture, preachers spoke about the value of time, the importance of using it wisely, and avoiding wasting it, since time is a person's true capital. They stressed that Allah the Almighty will ask each person on the Day of Judgment about how they spent their time, just as He will ask about their wealth-how it was earned and how it was spent. The speakers also highlighted the dangers of idleness, which often leads to bad habits, especially when accompanied by negative peer influence.

Therefore, they emphasised the importance of filling one's time with beneficial activities, and acquiring positive habits and skills that give deeper meaning to a Muslim's life, and spending time in righteous deeds.

The Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center is the leading institution specialised in educating non-Arabic-speaking Muslim communities.
It organises a wide variety of activities for different groups, including youth, families, and children, in addition to engaging with international schools and providing educational lectures aimed at promoting upright behaviour among students.
