Dr. Shelley Boulianne examines the global dynamics of digital media use for citizen engagement in civic and political life. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA) and has held professor positions at MacEwan University (Canada), the Université Catholique de Lille (France), and the University of Southampton (UK).
