Flipkart Minutes Launches Gourmet Vertical With 650+ Premium Food Products In Metro Hubs
The new vertical offers over 650 products from more than 130 brands across 12 curated sub-categories.
The range spans international delicacies and artisanal Indian products, including Korean ramen, Italian pasta, premium chocolates, and gourmet breads.
Popular brands in the lineup include Habanero, Samyang, WickedGud, Barilla, Nongshim, Lindt, Smoor, MadMix, Cremeitalia, Akshayakalpa, Organic Acre, IFB Fresh Catch, and Gadre.
Kabeer Biswas, Vice-President at Flipkart Minutes, said the launch aligns with the evolving preferences of Indian consumers.“People today are aspirational and open to exploring global flavours, healthier choices, and premium ingredients as part of their everyday meals,” he noted.
Industry experts say that gourmet demand is no longer limited to metro cities, as tier-2 cities are also showing growing interest in international and premium products.
Griffith David, Founder of Habanero, observed that customers in these regions are increasingly willing to try diverse, high-quality food options.
The move comes as competition in India's quick-commerce space intensifies. With rivals like Amazon's Now and emerging high-end delivery platforms such as FirstClub, Flipkart Minutes is betting on curated premium offerings as a differentiator.
The company plans to expand the Gourmet category to more cities in the coming months, promising“premium flavours delivered in minutes” to a wider audience.
