Wood Shop Fire In Zabul Causes 3M Afghanis Losses

KABUL (Pajhwok): A fire breakout at a wood shop in the Shajoy district of southern Zabul province caused financial losses of three million afghanis, police said on Friday.
The Police Headquarters wrote on its Facebook page the fire broke out today (Friday) in a wood shop on the Shajoy district's wood sales street due to carelessness.
The fire was brought under control with efforts of the Qalat city fire department, local officials and the public, and no one was injured.
The police said wood and other goods worth three million afghanis were gutted in the fire, but other goods worth 20 million afghanis were saved from burning.
