JEA, Palestinian Jerusalem Center Discuss Enhanced Engineering Cooperation

Amman, July 16 (Petra) - Jordan Engineers Association (JEA), headed by its President, Abdullah Ghosheh, on Wednesday discussed with Council of the Engineers Association Center in Jerusalem, headed by Tariq Zaro, ways to enhance joint institutional and professional cooperation.
In a statement, the JEA said the meeting reflects keenness to develop mutual relations to serve the engineers' interests and support progress of joint engineering work at the national and regional levels.
The meeting addressed strategic topics for raising engineers' "efficiency" and developing technical training programs, which contribute to empowering Palestinian engineering staff and strengthening their resilience.
During an expanded meeting, the two sides also discussed mechanisms to support joint union work and expand cooperation scope in the fields of training, development, and member service.
Calling for maintaining mutual communication and openness, the two sides urged action to deepen relations between the engineers associations in Jordan and Palestine, which reflect their shared position and their professional and national mission.
In turn, the Jerusalem Center valued the JEA's continued support for the Palestinian engineers and people under various circumstances.
The discussions tackled the latest developments in the JEA's digital transformation and need to electronically link the Jerusalem Center to the JEA's central system by activating e-payment services and facilitating the provision of remote services.
Additionally, talks went over developing "institutional connectivity" and activating the Jerusalem Center's engagement in various JEA's committees to ensure role integration and strengthen the basis for participation in decision-making.
