Russian Forces Intercept Six Ukrainian Drones
(MENAFN) Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed six Ukrainian drones that attempted to strike Moscow on Sunday, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. Emergency responders are currently on site, managing the wreckage left behind by the downed drones, Sobyanin reported on his Telegram channel.
“Thousands of drones have been launched at Moscow over the past months. In the end, only a handful managed to reach and fall in Moscow. No serious damage has been made,” the mayor stated.
The use of drone attacks has become a frequent tactic employed by both Russia and Ukraine in their ongoing conflict, with each side targeting strategic locations in an escalating aerial offensive.
