Kuwait Assistant FM For Human Rights Chairs Gulf Coordination Meeting

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TUNIS, July 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Assistant Foreign Minister for Human Rights Affairs Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher Ibrahim Al-Duaij Al-Sabah chaired the coordination meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Ministers of Labor and the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the high-level Arab regional meeting in preparation for the Second World Summit for Social Development, on Monday, June 30, 2025, in the capital Tunis.
The meeting discussed the developmental and social priorities of the GCC countries for the World Summit, as well as the priority items in the final document of the meetings held in Tunis.
The high-level Arab regional meeting is being held in preparation for the Second World Summit for Social Development, scheduled for next November in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The summit will address key social development priorities, including the eradication of poverty, the achievement of decent work, and the promotion of social inclusion. (end)
