Minister Of Commerce And Industry Holds Meeting With Qatari Manufacturers

DOHA: Minister of Commerce and Industry, H E Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, held a strategic meeting yesterday with a group of prominent Qatari manufacturers at the Ministry's headquarters.

The session forms part of the Ministry's continued efforts to monitor the performance of the national industrial sector and provide steadfast support to investors.

The meeting also focused on identifying the principal challenges facing factory owners and discussed actionable solutions to enhance the competitiveness of the sector, foster sustainable growth, and reinforce domestic production.

Attendees reviewed current regulatory procedures and explored proposals to improve the industrial business environment and facilitate the establishment of new projects.

The Minister underscored the importance of collaborative initiatives to cultivate an attractive and dynamic investment climate-one that enhances the sector's contribution to the national economy and aligns with Qatar's broader economic diversification agenda.
