New Events, Video Series and Partnerships Energize Holistic Health and Fitness for Seniors and Staff

BRONX, N.Y., June 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Centers Health Care , the largest and most complete post-acute health care continuum in the Northeast that touches one million lives each year with 45 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, is proud to announce the launch of its third annual "Care That Moves You" program, furthering its mission to make movement and active living a central part of life for both residents and staff. This year's program will expand its focus on interactive events held at Centers Health Care facilities throughout the region; all aimed at promoting health, activity, and connection through a diverse range of engaging experiences. Since its launch, the "Care That Moves You" initiative has sparked over 2,500 minutes of movement across the Centers Health Care network to-date.

Building on the success of previous years, the 2025 program is set to deliver even more opportunities for seniors to participate in fun, movement-based activities tailored to all ability levels, including everything from silent disco parties to chair bowling.

The system is also launching an inspiring video series, Steps to Home, which follows real-life journeys of patients as they rehabilitate, recover, and return home from skilled nursing care. Each episode highlights expert therapy, personalized support, and everyday victories that play a key role in successful rehab, all rooted in movement and mobility as a cornerstone of care. The series will be published on Centers Health Care's social channels from June through the end of August.

The BlazePod adoption is part of a year-round initiative to engage hundreds of Centers Health Care team members and residents in purposeful movement. It marks the first time the training system has been introduced in a post-acute healthcare setting, bringing a research-backed approach to enhancing stability and reducing fall risk.
