KM Malta Airlines Launches Direct Flights Between Istanbul And Malta

(MENAFN- B2Press) KM Malta Airlines has officially launched its operations in the Turkish market with its inaugural flight from Istanbul Airport to Malta on June 2, 2025, marking the opening of the new Istanbul–Malta route.

Travelers can now enjoy direct, seamless flights three times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, offering a convenient new connection between Turkey and the heart of the Mediterranean.

More Than a Holiday Destination: A Strategic Travel Hub

This new route offers more than just easy access to Malta's scenic shores. It also provides valuable onward connections for travelers looking to explore other destinations across Europe. With Malta serving as a key transit hub, passengers from Turkey can now reach multiple European cities more efficiently.

Enhanced Travel Options Through Strategic Partnership with Turkish Airlines

A strategic collaboration between KM Malta Airlines and Turkish Airlines enhances flexibility and options for both direct and connecting travelers. In addition to passenger services, the new route supports cargo transport, tapping into Malta's strategic location between Europe and Africa. This creates new logistical opportunities for Turkish businesses.

“A New Doorway to the Mediterranean”

David G. Curmi, Executive Chairman of KM Malta Airlines, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch:

“The Istanbul–Malta route represents a new gateway for Turkish travelers into the heart of the Mediterranean. We are delighted to welcome Turkey into our network and look forward to growing this connection in the months ahead.”
