Iran Warns US Citizens, Soldiers in Region

(MENAFN) Iranian state television reported that every American civilian and member of the armed forces stationed in the region is "now a legitimate target" after United States air raids on Iranian atomic installations Sunday.

On Wednesday, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei cautioned Washington against intervening in Tehran’s struggle with Israel, declaring, “The harm the US will suffer will definitely be irreparable if they enter this conflict militarily.”

U.S. President Donald Trump revealed that American forces joined Israel in executing assaults on Iranian territory.

Posting Saturday on Truth Social, he wrote, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.”

In reaction, the Israel Defense Forces raised their alert level, shuttered schools, forbade large gatherings, and suspended non-essential work following the strikes.
