Azerbaijan’s President Set to Visit Türkiye on Thursday
(MENAFN) Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev is set to make an official trip to Türkiye this Thursday, responding to an invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as confirmed by Türkiye’s communications director.
During this visit, Erdogan and Aliyev will jointly participate in the opening ceremony for the “Azerbaijan Neighborhood,” a permanent housing initiative located in southern Kahramanmaras province. This project was collaboratively developed by both countries following the catastrophic earthquakes that struck in February 2023, Fahrettin Altun shared on X Wednesday.
Additionally, the two presidents plan to discuss the state of bilateral ties and ongoing developments in the region, Altun noted.
