Iran Shoots Down Israeli Occupation's Drone Near Natanz Nuclear Facility

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TEHRAN, June 17 (KUNA) -- Iranian security official affirmed on Tuesday shooting down an Israeli occupation drone in Isfahan governorate, near Natanz Nuclear Facility.
In a statement to reporters, Security assistant to Isfahan's governor Akbar Salehi said that the locally made (Som Khordad) air defense systems shot down a drone of the Israeli occupation in one of the defensive rings of Natanz's nuclear facility.
Iran's air defenses were able to shoot down a number of small flying objects in Isfahan province, Salehi said.
Last Friday, Natanz fortified facility was subjected to a number of attacks by the Israeli occupation, leading to radioactive and chemical contamination that did not leak out of the facility, according to the Iranian authorities.
Since last Friday, Tehran and other Iranian cities have been subjected to a large-scale attack by the Israeli occupation forces, which Iran met with a major missile attack on the occupation territories. (end) mw
