Ajith Kumar's Good, Bad & Ugly currently holds the highest first-day collection in Kollywood this year. However, Kamal Haasan's Thug Life is expected to have an even bigger opening. It's predicted to surpass Vicky Kaushal's Sava, the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. This gangster action drama, directed by Mani Ratnam, also stars Simbu in a lead role. Thug Life is expected to join this list of high performers. Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Red Giant Movies, and Madras Talkies, the film is made on an estimated budget of ₹250–300 crore.
