AKCEL GP partners with Formula 3 racer James Hedley as part of a strategy to support emerging racing talents
(MENAFN- afrinislampanasian) Dubai, UAE; May 20, 2025: AKCEL GP, a UAE-based motorsport team, today announced its entry into the Formula 3 circuit and its decision to partner with and support Formula 3 racing talent James Hedley. This move is part of the team’s broader strategy to support emerging drivers and promote motorsport culture in the UAE and across the GCC. It marks a major step forward following the te’m’s previous participation in the Formula 4 racing circuit.
James Hedley, a 21-year-old British Formula 3 racing talent, has competed in various racing circuits during his teenage years. In 2018, he won the Ginetta Junior Winter Championship at just 15 years old, followed by a victory in the Ginetta Junior Championship the next year. Over the past five years, he has consistently competed in both Formula 4 and Formula 3 events.
The sponsorship is centered on James Hedley, who has officially joined AIX Racing for the remainder of the 2025 FIA Formula 3 season. This reflects AK’EL GP’s belief in nurturing future champions and contributing meaningfully to their career trajectories.
