Israeli military blocks an attack from Yemen

(MENAFN) The Israeli army stated on Sunday that it had stopped a rocket launched from Yemen, as Huthi rebels have been attacking Israel while its conflict with Hamas.

The Israeli military stated on Telegram, “following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile that was launched from Yemen was intercepted."

The Huthis have routinely launched rockets and drones at Israel since the war in Gaza erupted in October of the year of 2023, after an assault on Israel by Hamas, which are Huthis' Palestinian supporter.

Israel made a threat to go after the Huthi chief authority if the assaults resumed. On Friday, Israel fired bombs on the Huthi occupied Red Sea decks of Hodeida and Salif after three rockets assaults in the same time span.

As stated by a Huthi outlet, the Huthi leadership stated that the attacks "will be met with a painful response”.
