Arab Chamber Welcomes Women Of Brazil In Dubai
A founding partner of business development consultancy BTA and one of the founders of the Women of Brazil group, Betania Tanure told ANBA that the meeting is expected to yield results in connecting with companies, as the ABCC, she said, has the ability to“orchestrate” partnerships.
The meeting at the ABCC's headquarters in Dubai took place after she delivered a lecture on change management, which involves planning and implementing changes within a company.“After this lecture, we held a meeting with the ABCC to establish more partnerships between the two countries, strengthen trade relations, and create opportunities for Brazilians and women,” she said.
“The Women of Brazil group works to create a fairer society, and the way to achieve this is through people, ensuring they have the means to understand their role as citizens,” said Tanure. The group was founded in 2013 to encourage women's participation in building a better country for all.
The meeting at the ABCC covered various topics, including hosting events alongside the Brazilian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, collaborating with other civil society representatives on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and women's issues, and exchanging experiences on the similarities and differences between the two countries to overcome cultural barriers.
