Anti-DOGE website publishes Tesla customers personal info
(MENAFN) Opponents of Elon Musk and his leadership of President Donald Trump’s Department of government Efficiency (DOGE) have reportedly targeted Tesla customers by publishing their personal information online.
An interactive website called DOGEQUEST claims to display addresses and other sensitive details of Tesla owners and DOGE employees. While the site states that it is not intended for vandalism, its use of a Molotov cocktail cursor and its requirement that Tesla owners prove they sold their vehicle to be removed from the database have raised concerns.
Reports about the website first surfaced in outlets like 404 Media, which verified that some of the leaked records appear to be authentic.
Tesla has increasingly become a target of political protests against DOGE, with demonstrations and vandalism near Tesla dealerships growing in recent weeks. Some incidents have even involved arson and gunfire, prompting alarm from law enforcement.
In a Fox News interview, Musk expressed disbelief at the situation, calling it "crazy." He accused his critics of hypocrisy, stating:
“The Democrats were supposed to be the party of empathy, the party of caring. And yet they are burning down cars, firebombing dealerships, and shooting at Teslas. This makes no sense.”
Meanwhile, US Attorney General Pam Bondi condemned the acts of anti-Tesla violence, labeling them “domestic terrorism.” She pledged to investigate both the perpetrators and those coordinating the attacks.
